Wilson Heights takes its name from Wilson Heights Boulevard, the road that runs north from Wilson Avenue toward Sheppard on the old edge of the Downsview airfield. Much of the housing west of the boulevard was built in the 1990s on former airport land, while the streets closer to Bathurst have older brick bungalows and low-rise apartments.
The area has deep roots in Toronto's Jewish community, with synagogues and Jewish day schools nearby. It is also home to many Filipino, Italian and Russian families. Wilson station puts downtown within easy reach, and the shops along Wilson Avenue cover most daily errands.
Patients from Wilson Heights often book with us for routine cleanings and fillings, and adults ask about Invisalign, which we plan in our office using an iTero digital scanner. We'll explain your options and what your plan covers before anything starts.
