A Sheppard Avenue dentist for Downsview households

Downsview sits west of the Allen Road between Sheppard Avenue and Highway 401, out toward Keele and Jane. For most of the last century it was defined by aviation: de Havilland built aircraft here from 1929, and the air force base later became Downsview Park, now one of the city's large urban parks.

Wartime and post-war bungalows still make up many streets, mixed with newer townhouses and apartment towers. The community has long been home to Italian and Portuguese families, and the Filipino community has grown quickly over the past 20 years. Many households have young children and parents working shifts.

Our office is a short trip east on Sheppard. People from Downsview often come to us for a toothache that can't wait, a root canal or a wisdom tooth that needs to come out. Call before 5 p.m. on a weekday and we'll try to see you the same day.

Getting here from Downsview

By car

Drive east on Sheppard Avenue West, cross Dufferin Street and the Allen Road, and continue to Bathurst Street. Turn left; 4430 Bathurst St is just north of the intersection with a free parking lot.

By transit

Take Line 1 to Sheppard West station, then ride the 84 Sheppard West bus east to Bathurst Street. From the Keele or Jane side, the 84 also runs along Sheppard, so check the TTC trip planner to see whether one bus gets you here.

Tip: From Downsview Park station, it is one stop south to Sheppard West and then the 84 bus east.

We're in Suite 509 on the 5th floor of 4430 Bathurst St. Both elevators in the lobby go to the 5th floor. Several other dental offices share this building, so look for Suite 509. Free parking behind the building, including wheelchair-accessible spaces.
