Armour Heights lies east of Bathurst Street, from Wilson Avenue north to the ravine of the West Don River, with Highway 401 cutting through the middle. Its history is unusual for a suburb. During the First World War the fields here held a flight training airfield, and the Strathrobyn estate is now home to the Canadian Forces College.
After the war, farmland gave way to brick bungalows and side-splits, many now replaced by larger custom homes. Bathurst Street along the west edge is lined with kosher bakeries, shops and synagogues, and the neighbourhood remains an important part of Toronto's Jewish community.
Households here range from young families to grandparents who have lived on the same street since the 1960s. We care for each of them, and our evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays help when the school run and the office leave little room in the day.
Getting here from Armour Heights
By car
Drive north on Bathurst Street from Wilson Avenue, cross over Highway 401 and continue through the Sheppard Avenue intersection. 4430 Bathurst St is just north, with free parking at the building.
By transit
Catch the 7 Bathurst bus northbound on Bathurst at Wilson Avenue or anywhere along your side of the street, and get off at the Bathurst St at Sheppard Ave W stop, a short walk from the building.
Tip: Traffic over the 401 bridge can back up at rush hour. A mid-morning or early-afternoon booking is usually smoother.
We're in Suite 509 on the 5th floor of 4430 Bathurst St. Both elevators in the lobby go to the 5th floor. Several other dental offices share this building, so look for Suite 509. Free parking behind the building, including wheelchair-accessible spaces.
