Maple grew up around Keele Street and Major Mackenzie Drive, where the old village still has its 1903 railway station. Since the 1980s, subdivisions have filled the land from Highway 400 east to Bathurst Street. It's a community of young families, with Canada's Wonderland on one side and Vaughan City Hall and Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital nearby.

We won't pretend we're around the corner. Families in Maple have dental offices closer to home. Those who travel to us usually have a reason: they started with Dr. Sayeh Maralani before moving north, they want a small office where the kids see the same faces, or they want to talk with the team in Farsi, Russian or Ukrainian.

For school-age children, we focus on prevention. Our hygienists clean and polish, and we apply sealants to new molars to help keep cavities out of the grooves. Teens and parents can ask about Invisalign, planned here with an iTero scan, and Dr. Maralani checks wisdom teeth as they start to come in.

Getting here from Maple

By car

Drive south on Dufferin Street or Bathurst Street to Steeles, then continue on Bathurst to just north of Sheppard. Or take Highway 400 south to Highway 401 east and exit at Bathurst Street, heading north past Wilson. Our building's lot is free.

By transit

Take the GO Barrie line south from Maple GO station to Downsview Park station. Transfer to Line 1 and ride one stop south to Sheppard West. Then take the 84 Sheppard West bus east to Bathurst Street. Check GO schedules, as train frequency varies by time of day.

Tip: Group the kids' check-ups into one visit and pick a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon so the drive works around school.

We're in Suite 509 on the 5th floor of 4430 Bathurst St. Both elevators in the lobby go to the 5th floor. Several other dental offices share this building, so look for Suite 509. Free parking behind the building, including wheelchair-accessible spaces.

Maple dental FAQ

How far is the trip from Maple?

About 18 to 20 km by road, roughly 25 to 35 minutes by car depending on traffic.

Can we take the GO train?

Yes. The Barrie line runs from Maple GO to Downsview Park, where you can transfer to Line 1 and then the 84 Sheppard West bus.

What are dental sealants?

A thin protective coating painted onto the chewing surfaces of back teeth. It helps stop food and bacteria from settling in the grooves.

Do teens need braces or can they use Invisalign?

Many teens can use Invisalign, which we plan here. We don't offer traditional braces, so if they're the better fit, we'll refer you to an orthodontist.
