Lawrence Manor was laid out in the 1940s by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, and Lawrence Plaza opened at Bathurst and Lawrence in 1953. The neighbourhood stretches north from Lawrence Avenue to Highway 401, with Bathurst Street on one side and the Allen Road on the other.

Today it is home to a large Orthodox Jewish community and a growing Filipino community, and many residents are first-generation Canadians. Housing is mostly single-family homes and low-rise apartments. Baycrest's campus is nearby, and many older adults live in the area.

For Lawrence Manor patients, coming to us means one long, simple ride up Bathurst. We see a lot of grandparents who need denture adjustments or gum care, and parents who want their kids' check-ups done before school. Book a morning slot from 8:30 if that fits your day.

Lawrence Manor dental FAQ

Is it worth travelling from Lawrence Manor?

Many patients find it simple: one bus on Bathurst, or about 10 minutes by car with free parking. Families also like booking several people on the same day.

Can you reline my partial denture?

Yes. We check the fit of partial dentures and repair dentures when needed. Book an exam so we can look first.

Do you treat gum disease?

Yes. Our hygienists do scaling and root planing, and we use a soft-tissue laser to help treat deep gum pockets when it's appropriate.

Do you accept CDCP?

Yes. We accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan and explain any co-payment first. We don't process CDCP applications, so apply through the government before booking.
