Dental care for Bayview Village households

Bayview Village was laid out in the mid-1950s around curving streets that follow the slope of the East Don valley. Bungalows and split-levels on quiet crescents sit a few blocks from the condo towers that now line Sheppard Avenue East near the subway. That mix brings us retirees who have owned their homes for decades as well as professionals renting their first one-bedroom near Bessarion station.

For both groups, Sheppard Avenue is the easy link to our office. It runs without a break from Leslie Street, past Yonge, and on to Bathurst, so the trip involves one turn at the end. Condo residents who work downtown often book Tuesday or Thursday evenings, when we stay open until 7 p.m.

Our practice is a small one. Dr. Sayeh Maralani, a general dentist with almost 20 years of experience, sees adults, children and seniors, and our hygienists handle regular cleanings. If you want to straighten your teeth, we plan Invisalign in-house using an iTero digital scan, with no putty impressions.

Getting here from Bayview Village

By car

Head west on Sheppard Avenue East, cross Yonge Street where it becomes Sheppard Avenue West, and continue to Bathurst Street. Turn right onto Bathurst; 4430 Bathurst St is just north of the corner. Pull into the building's free lot. Expect 12 to 18 minutes outside rush hour.

By transit

Board Line 4 Sheppard westbound at Leslie, Bessarion or Bayview station and ride to Sheppard-Yonge. Transfer to the 84 Sheppard West bus heading west and get off at Bathurst Street. The office is a short walk north.

Tip: Line 4 trains run frequently, so the slowest part of the trip is usually the bus along Sheppard West. Allow about 30 to 40 minutes door to door.

We're in Suite 509 on the 5th floor of 4430 Bathurst St. Both elevators in the lobby go to the 5th floor. Several other dental offices share this building, so look for Suite 509. Free parking behind the building, including wheelchair-accessible spaces.
